Torres de Serranos Valencia

The Torres de Serranos or the Serrans Gate in the Valencia Old Town is one of the twelve gates that formed part of the ancient city wall (Muralla cristiana), built at the end of the 14th century (between 1392 and 1398) it is one of the best preserved monuments of Valencia and displays the elegance of Valenician Gothic architecture. You can walk through its many levels up the Escher like steps appreciating the interior’s fusion of geometric and ornamentational carvings until you reach the pinnicle and the stunning views of the Valencian Old Town.
